OPEN is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization that connects members of the Oromo community in the diaspora with resources and opportunities that equip them for business and professional success. We welcome Oromo professionals and entrepreneurs from all backgrounds and seek to foster a collaborative and collegial engagement with a focus on career advancement, personal development, entrepreneurship, and community outreach.

Career Advancement

Our career advancement program focuses on equipping job seekers in the community with the tools and resources necessary for becoming competitive candidates for the roles they would like to pursue.

Entrepreneurship

Our entrepreneurship program aims to provide resources and opportunities for our community to learn about entrepreneurship, and build connections that will help them progress in their journey to owning or growing their businesses.

Personal Development

Our personal development program provides high impact mentorship opportunities, and seeks to create a space where participants can develop soft skills, gain financial literacy, and productive habits.

Community Outreach

Our community outreach program is dedicated to increasing cultural competency beyond a surface understanding of Oromo cultural customs, supporting high impact service projects, and taking part in cultural exchange activities.
